Jonathan Masel
President, CEO, Founder
Mr. Masel, previously managed the software development group at Motorola Semiconductor. He left Motorola and founded Inverness Systems. Inverness was a very successful source level protocol company providing ATM and Routing protocol stacks which were optimized to run in high performance "system on a chip" hardware environments. Inverness built its business with optimized solutions for the Motorola PowerQUICC devices as well as several Network Processors. After 5 years of success, Inverness was purchased by Virata corporation (a semiconductor company that later was acquired by Globespan and now Conexant). Jonathan Masel stayed on at GlobespanVirata as President of GlobespanVirata Israel. Recognizing the emerging opportunity for open-source solutions in the embedded marketplace, he left GlobespanVirata to start Arabella Software.
