Ethernet does not work properly when connected to a hub Ethernet services are not stable when connected to a hub. This problem nearly always appears when working at 10Mbps and sometimes occurs at 100Mbps. Initial indications point toward this being a problem with the Ethernet PHY device, but this is not final. This problem is still under investigation.
Workaround: Either use a switch or a direct cross-cable connection. The problem seems to appear only with hubs.
System requests login password when using flash file system (ver 1.0) When using the kernel that mounts root from the flash file system image, you may be asked for a login password. This is due to a bug in the construction of the flash file system image itself and is fixed by downloading the file uJFFS2-1.0-2 and using it instead of the file uJFFS2 supplied on the distribution CD.
